Lotus Symphony

Hi,

Remember Lotus before Lotus Notes? Nice software that used to run on dos. Then came lotus suite that lost to Microsoft office. They tried one last gasp... offered an earlier version of Lotus Suite for free. Then gave up on people like me and focused on enterprise wide stuff. (BTW the above story is about the product not the company)

Well lotus is back with lotus symphony from IBM. OPEN SOURCE. Reports say it is likely to give Microsoft a run for its money. Its free to download... if you have the patience and bandwidth to download 144MB. AND the site says its beta..register to download.
